Social Football is an app for youth football teams: coaches, team managers and parents use it for the schedule, attendance, results and team news. This policy explains which data the app processes, why, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible
Social Football is made by Maiko Kuipers. Questions about privacy can be sent to maiko1100@gmail.com.
What data we process
- Account: your e-mail address (to sign in with a link sent to your mail) and your display name.
- Team and role: which team you belong to and in which role (parent or guardian, coach, team manager, administrator).
- Players: first and last name of players, and optionally date of birth and shirt number. Parents add their own child; coaches and team managers manage the roster.
- Attendance: whether a player attends a training or match, with an optional note for the coach.
- Team content: posts, match results, goal scorers, match reports and photos shared by coaches and team managers.
- Photo consent: per guardian, whether photos in which their child is recognisable may be shared.
- Notifications: if you turn notifications on, a technical code for your device so push notifications can be delivered.
- Feedback: what you enter yourself under “Report a problem or idea”.
We show no advertising, use no third-party analytics and do not track you across other apps or websites.
Why
Only to make the app work: signing in, showing the team and schedule, passing on attendance, sharing posts and results, sending notifications, and handling your questions or reports.
Who can see the data
Only people in the same team, who joined through a personal invitation. Parents see their own children and the team roster; coaches and team managers see what they need to manage the team. Photos are only visible to the team and are hidden immediately when a guardian does not give consent. One “no” from a guardian always prevails.
Processors
- Supabase: storage of data and photos, and sign-in. The database is located in the European Union (Ireland).
- Resend: sending invitation e-mails.
- Expo, Apple and Google: delivering push notifications.
How long we keep data
As long as your account and your team exist. When you delete your account, your account data is removed. Completed privacy requests are kept for two years and resolved feedback for one year.
Your rights
In the app you can:
- change photo consent per child (Profile › Privacy and feedback);
- request an export of your data (Profile › Privacy and feedback);
- delete your account (Profile › Delete account).
For other questions, or to have data corrected, e-mail maiko1100@gmail.com. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Children
The app is intended for parents, guardians and team staff, not for the children themselves. Children's data is entered by their parents or the coach and is only shared within the team.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top.
